Jon's first film The Dishwasher of Kilburn - which he wrote and produced - was inspired by Michael Winterbottom's powerful drama In This World (2003). It has since been viewed nearly 1 million times on Facebook. It was translated into French, Spanish and Persian versions and continues to be shared by fans around the world. In 2020 Jon was an Executive Producer on romantic comedy feature Swipe Fever, produced by Mark Forstater (Monty Python and the Holy Grail).

Jon is now producing a feature-length thriller, YAS, based on his short script and written by Laura Turner (Lapwing). Set in London and the Middle East, YAS will be directed by Khaled El Hagar, Oscar-longlisted for Lust in 2010 and director of Room to Rent (2000) starring Saïd Taghmaoui and Juliette Lewis.
